Soul Catcher is a Maple Leaf 42, built in 1978 in Vancouver, B. C.,
Canada. We bought her from Barry and Maureen Bennett, the original
builders. The Bennetts took her to Mexico for two years, then brought
her back to Vancouver, B.C. Now, 20 years later we're fixing her
up to go again. She
is a well built boat with lots of room and a good pedigree, but we did a
lot of upgrading and refurbishing of her main systems. |

Lucas :
When I first saw Soul Catcher, I thought, "ohmigod, she's
ORANGE" After 10 months cruising I've only seen one boat that I
would trade Soul Catcher
for. (You can see Belair on the Santa Barbara page).
I love my boat.
Betsey: Soul Catcher is not fast, and she's
not well set up for sail handling, but she has worked well for us. The interior is the best part of Soul Catcher. She is roomy,
comfortable, and beautiful. Here are some of our
favorite photos.
